WELCOME

This website is dedicated to the life and artwork of Ellie Alpert (1929 – 2024).  Within these pages you will find a gallery of all the pieces of artwork that could be gathered so far.  She spent 70 years creating paintings, drawings and fiber art, many of which were sold or gifted.  Some of the sold pieces are recorded in her gallery, though sadly, many others remain to be found.

One purpose of this website is to share Ellie’s work with all who visit, because her art is special and deserves to be seen.  The goal is to celebrate a long life that produced an amazing amount of beautiful art – her legacy.

Another purpose is to create a memorial to her work for family and friends who wish to remember the special art she created.  Please visit the About section to learn more about her journey from young student to accomplished artist.

Finally, the hope is that someone who can provide an appropriate public space for displaying art will be inspired by her gallery and accept a donation of her work so it can be enjoyed by many for years to come.  Ellie was so passionate about her art and lived to share it with others.  It would have been a dream come true for her to see her visions displayed in a public forum.  If you are in a position to make such a commitment, please visit the Contact page on this website.
